Announcements page for churches
Church sites have a new Announcements page (under Posts & libraries). Type each announcement into the same few boxes: title, date, time, place, details, who to contact and a button. The page lays them all out the same way, with a date badge, grouped under headings like This week, Upcoming, Children & youth and Outreach. An announcement leaves the page by itself once its day is over, and you can highlight the ones people shouldn't miss.
October 31, 2026
A more polished bulletin
The Bulletin now opens with a cover: your photo (or your colors and logo), the date, a theme and a verse of the week, then your service times and address. Announcements and your own sections can have pictures, upcoming events appear with their pictures and dates, and a Respond area brings together giving, a “New here?” connect card and your Prayer Wall, with your church's contact details at the bottom. Announcements on their own page can have a picture too.
October 31, 2026
Weekly bulletin for churches
Church sites can now have a Bulletin page that people open on their phones or print: a welcome, the order of service, message notes with blanks to fill in, this week's announcements, giving and sections of your own. Each week, press “Start next week's bulletin”: this one moves to Past bulletins on the page, and the next one is ready to fill in. Share the link, or put it on a QR code in your lobby.

Request a change
Want something your editor can't do yet? Click Help, right under View website in the editor, describe it, and send. We'll get back to you by email, usually within one business day, and you can see your past requests and where they stand on the same page.
October 31, 2026
The online store is an add-on
Until you turn it on, Store now waits in the Add-ons group of the editor's menu with its monthly price, like the other extras. Turn it on and it moves to Grow.
October 31, 2026
Pages shows the right fields, and every page opens
In Pages, each section now lists only the wording and fields it really shows: no more stray boxes (like Contact or Home under Ministries) picked up from words inside its sentences. The Events, Watch Live, Prayer Wall and other feature pages now stay open in Pages and the preview instead of jumping back to the Home page, and the Messages and Blog pages' sections have proper names.
October 31, 2026
Sections read top to bottom
When you open a section in Pages, its headings and wording now come first, then its pictures and items, in the same order you see them on the page.
October 31, 2026
Gallery and videos moved to your Home page
Your photo gallery and videos are now edited where they show: open Pages, then the Home page, and click the Photo gallery section (or “Photo gallery & videos” if your gallery is empty). The separate Gallery & video item is gone from the menu, and old links to it take you to the new spot.
October 31, 2026
Every section explains itself
The first time you open a part of the editor, a clear card at the top says what it's for and where it belongs. After that it tucks away to a simple title, with “About this section” to read it again, and “Show section tips again” at the top of the editor brings back every introduction.
October 31, 2026
Size your popups exactly
Popups have a new Custom size: set the whole popup's width and height in pixels, and its picture grows or shrinks to fill the space the words leave. On phones a wide popup still shrinks to fit the screen.
October 31, 2026
Menu has its own place
Your site's menu now has its own spot in the editor's sidebar, right under Pages, the way you'd find it in WordPress or Joomla. Open Menu to put items in any order, make drop-down sub-menus, and add pages or your own links.
October 31, 2026
Clearer fonts in Text styles
In Design → Text styles, each heading, paragraphs and links now show which font they use (and whether it comes from your design), with a Change font button to pick a different one just for that kind of text, and a one-click way back to the design's font.
October 31, 2026
An easier font picker
Font style now starts with eight popular choices and lets you browse by mood: Clean, Classic, Bold or Playful, or show all 30. Each card shows the real fonts, with a big “Aa” in the heading font and a line of body text, so you can see the pair before you pick it.
October 31, 2026
Add-ons in one place
The editor's menu has a new Add-ons group with every extra your site doesn't have yet, like the blog, events or online store, each with its price. Once you add one, it moves to its usual spot in the menu, so the things you use stay where you expect them.
October 30, 2026
Tidier design picker on phones
On a phone, the long rows of category buttons on the Templates page are now a single drop-down: pick a group like Home services on the first page, or jump to another category while browsing designs.
October 30, 2026
Your own menu items
In Pages → Menu, “+ Add a menu item” adds a link of your own: to another website (it opens in a new tab) or a page on your site. Or tick “Add a current page from the site” and pick any of your pages. Leave its address empty and it becomes a heading, like “Get involved”, that opens a drop-down of the pages and items you put under it. Move them anywhere with the arrows.
October 30, 2026
Arrange your menu in one place
Pages now has a Menu card: move any menu item up or down (including Messages, Events, Prayer Wall and the other built-in items), put any item under another to make a drop-down sub-menu (Prayer Wall and Directory under Messages, say), and add pages that aren't in the menu yet. The Blog page is now in the Pages list too, so you can give it a header picture.
October 30, 2026
Mix events and slides in any order
Once events join your rotating banner, a Slide order list appears under Rotating banner with every slide and event. Use the arrows to put them in any order, like an event between two of your slides.
October 30, 2026
Cleaner YouTube videos in the rotating banner
YouTube's play and pause buttons no longer flash over a banner video: the slide's picture shows until the video is actually playing, then the video fades in. On phones that won't autoplay videos, visitors simply see the picture.
October 30, 2026
Faster publishing for sites with lots of messages
When you publish, message pages that haven't changed are now left as they are instead of being rebuilt, so churches with hundreds of messages publish in a fraction of the time. And when lots of sites publish at once, they now take turns, so everyone's site goes live faster.
October 29, 2026
No more waiting on big sites
Adding an add-on (like the rotating banner) now switches it on instantly, and Publish no longer holds you up while a large site is rebuilt: it shows “Publishing…” and finishes in the background. Approving prayer requests and changing member sign-ins are instant too.
October 29, 2026
Privacy and legal housekeeping
Your website's fonts are now served from your own site instead of Google's, so visitors' browsers no longer contact Google just to show text (and pages load a touch faster). Checkout now spells out the monthly automatic renewal right by the button, with a box to agree, and we email the renewal and cancellation details after you subscribe. Our Terms now include a Copyright and DMCA policy.
October 29, 2026
Member sign-ins, groups and “I prayed for this”
Everyone in your Member Directory can now have their own sign-in: send invites from the directory, and each person chooses their password from the email. Make groups like Prayer Team or Leaders, tick them on each person, and choose which groups can open the directory and the prayer wall. On a members-only prayer wall, signed-in members can tap “🙏 I prayed for this”, and everyone sees how many people have prayed. The shared username and password can stay on while people accept their invites.
October 29, 2026
Prayer walls are members-only by default
When your Member Directory is on, the prayer wall now sits behind the same sign-in by default, so requests stay within your church family. You can still make it public under Prayer Wall.
October 29, 2026
Prayer wall: nicer emails and members-only
New prayer requests now arrive as a clean, formatted email with the request, who sent it and an Approve button. The person who asked gets a warm thank-you with their request, and another note once it's on the wall (when they leave an email). With the Member Directory on, you can make the prayer wall members-only: visitors sign in with the directory's username and password, on the same sign-in page.
October 29, 2026
Events feed: copy button and pictures
The Events area of the editor shows your events RSS feed with a Copy button. The feed itself now includes each event's picture, date, time and place, full description and a link to Add to calendar, plus your logo.
October 29, 2026
Pictures on every podcast episode
Every episode in your podcast feeds now has a picture: the message's own, else its video thumbnail, else your podcast cover. Feeds also carry each episode's full description with its picture and a link to the message page, so feed readers and email tools show them nicely.
October 29, 2026
Find your blog feed in the editor
The Blog area of the editor now shows your blog's RSS feed address with a Copy button, ready to paste into a feed reader or an email tool like Mailchimp.
October 29, 2026
Clearer AI button
The AI writing button next to text boxes now says “✨ Have AI Help Me”.
October 29, 2026
A richer blog RSS feed
Your blog's RSS feed (blog/feed.xml) now carries each post's full text with its pictures, its cover image, author, date and summary, plus your logo, so feed readers, Mailchimp and other email tools can turn new posts into good-looking emails automatically. Your Blog page also has a “Follow our blog (RSS)” link.
October 29, 2026
A faster editor on big sites
Saving, publishing and the AI helper no longer wait in line behind the live preview. On sites with hundreds of pages, typing quickly could make Save and Publish feel stuck until every preview update had finished; now they start right away.
October 29, 2026
Free photos for blog covers
Blog posts can now take their cover picture from Unsplash's free photo library, right next to Upload. The search starts with your post's title, and the photographer is thanked on your Photo credits page.
October 29, 2026
AI writing in many more places
✨ Write now helps with blog posts, store product descriptions, property listings, page and home introductions, thank-you messages, podcast descriptions and more. For headlines, taglines, headings, page titles and email subjects, a small ✨ inside the box suggests three options to pick from. Fields for facts (names, phone numbers, addresses, prices, dates and reviews) are left to you, so the AI never makes those up.
October 29, 2026
Use the AI helper with your own AI account
The AI writing helper now works with your own Claude (Anthropic) or ChatGPT (OpenAI) account: add your API key once under AI helper, and ✨ Write, Write my whole site, Google descriptions and sermon packs all use it. You choose the AI and pay it directly, usually a few cents a month, with no monthly writing limit.
October 29, 2026
A tidier footer for photo credits
Instead of a list of photographers' names, your footer now has one small “Photo credits” link to a page that thanks each photographer whose free photos you use. The page stays out of your menu and out of Google.
October 29, 2026
A new Features page
See everything you can do before you sign up: a tour of the editor and of what visitors see, with screenshots, from live previews and designs to popups, forms, the AI writing helper, the message library, live streaming and the member directory. Find it under Features in the menu.
October 29, 2026
Side-by-side sections
Your own sections now have a Half width option. Put two half-width sections next to each other and they sit side by side, each with its own background: text beside a sign-up form, a picture beside a story, two calls to action. On phones they stack. Plus: a page's main text now shows as “Page text” in Pages, whatever its first heading is.
October 29, 2026
Forms beside your page picture
A form on one of your pages can now sit right beside the page's picture, above or under the page text, as well as at the bottom of the page. Choose where in the page's settings or in Forms. Page settings also now have the page's Header picture, shown behind its title at the top.
October 29, 2026
Sub-menus, page header pictures and forms on any page
A page can now sit in a drop-down under Messages, Events, Watch Live, Blog and the site's other menu items, not just under your own pages. Each page's top banner can have its own header picture (Pages → the page → Top banner), instead of the home page's banner photo appearing there by mistake. And each page's settings now let you pick a form to show at the bottom of that page.
October 29, 2026
Search your member directory in the editor
The Member Directory in the editor now has a search box, so you can find anyone in a long list by name, household, role, status, email, phone number, address or private notes.
October 29, 2026
Import your member directory from a spreadsheet
Bring your whole directory in from a .csv file (Excel, Google Sheets or your church software can make one). Columns are matched to fields by name, with a chance to change any match first, and you choose whether to add people, update the ones you have, or replace the list. A guide in the editor lists every column name and what goes in it, with a sample spreadsheet to download.
October 29, 2026
Member directory sign-in page and better search
Members now sign in to the directory on a proper sign-in page that matches your site's design, instead of the browser's plain password box, and stay signed in for a month (with a Sign out link). The directory search now finds people by name, household, role, email, phone number or town, and shows how many people match.
October 29, 2026
A cleaner member directory
Directory cards now show each person's name, role and status at the top, then their household, email, phone numbers, address and birthday in a tidy labeled list. Phone numbers are neatly formatted, addresses open in Google Maps, and long email addresses no longer spill out of the card.
October 29, 2026
Popup positions, podcast links and a Watch Live header picture
Popups now appear in the corner or edge you pick (left and right positions were being ignored). Each podcast shows its feed address as soon as it's saved, with a checklist of anything still needed before podcast apps can use it. And the Watch Live page can have its own header picture, added right in Live stream settings.
October 29, 2026
AI Pro tools: whole site, Google descriptions and sermon packs
With AI Pro: Write my whole site turns a few sentences about your organization into a headline, tagline, introduction, About, service descriptions and page text, and you pick what to keep. Write every Google description fills in all your pages' search descriptions at once. And each message gets a Sermon pack: a summary, small-group questions and ready-to-post Facebook, Instagram and X posts.
October 29, 2026
AI Pro, and AI writes on every plan
Every plan now includes a monthly allowance of AI writes, with more on bigger plans. Need more? Add AI Pro from the AI helper area for a much larger monthly allowance, billed with your plan. Plus: designs whose top banner shares the header with the menu now list that banner in Pages, so its picture, words and button can be edited there.
October 29, 2026
A tidier editor menu
The editor's side menu now folds into groups: the group you're working in stays open, and the others open with a click (and stay how you left them). Pages like Watch Live, Events and Messages now have a button in Pages that takes you straight to where they're edited.
October 29, 2026
AI writing helper
Click \u2728 Write next to text boxes (About, page and section text, message notes, events, deals, popups, newsletters and Google descriptions) to have AI write or polish the words. Say what you want, pick a quick option like \u201cMake it shorter\u201d, edit the draft, then use it. Your plan includes a monthly allowance, or add your own Anthropic or OpenAI key for unlimited use.
October 29, 2026
Add pictures without saving first
Banner slides, events, deals, people, services and popups now take a picture straight away. Choosing one on something new saves it for you first.
October 29, 2026
Style your popups
Each popup's words can now be aligned left, center or right, with their own heading and text sizes for every screen, heading boldness, capitals and italics, and colors for the background, heading, text and button.
October 29, 2026
Email newsletter
Add a newsletter sign-up box to your site, see who's subscribed, and write and send emails to them right from the editor, with a test email to yourself first. Subscribers confirm by email before they're added, and every email has an unsubscribe link. Add an optional welcome email for new subscribers.
October 29, 2026
Build your own forms
Make sign-ups, RSVPs, connect cards, volunteer forms and quote requests with any questions you like: short and long answers, dropdowns, choices, checkboxes, dates and more. Each form gets its own page and can sit at the bottom of any page or inside a section. Answers are emailed to you and kept in the editor, ready to download as a spreadsheet.
October 29, 2026
Popups
Advertise an event, a deal or a sign-up in a popup with a picture, words and a button. Choose when it appears (after a few seconds, after scrolling, or as visitors are about to leave), where on the screen, its size, how often each visitor sees it, which pages and devices, and the dates it runs.
October 29, 2026
Live stream page
A Watch Live page for the stream you already run on YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, BoxCast, Resi and more. Add your service times and visitors see a countdown to the next one, a Live now badge, and a \u201cWe're live\u201d bar across your whole site while you're on.
October 29, 2026
More deals and coupons
Business sites can now run up to 500 deals at once. Visitors can copy a coupon code with one click, and a search box appears when there are lots of deals.
October 29, 2026
Export, update and filter your messages
In the Media Manager, filter your messages by book, speaker, series, topic, year or shown/hidden, just like visitors can. Export them as a spreadsheet (.csv) or a backup (.xml) that imports straight back. Importing can now add new messages and update the ones you already have, and Remove all clears the library (with a copy kept in Version history).
October 29, 2026
Rotating banner replaces every design's top banner
On designs whose top banner shares the header with the menu, “Instead of the top banner” now swaps it for your rotating banner, with the menu shown over the slides.
October 29, 2026
Banner buttons can go to any page
A rotating banner slide's button can now go to a page on your site, picked from a list, or to any web address.
October 29, 2026
Place your banner words anywhere
The rotating banner's text can now sit left, centered or right, at the top, middle or bottom. Pick a spot on the little grid under Text position.
October 28, 2026
Sizes for every screen, in any unit
Text sizes, section heading sizes and the rotating banner's height can now be set separately for desktops, laptops, tablets and phones, in px, em, rem, % or screen units. Pick a device in the preview to edit its sizes; any device you leave blank uses the next bigger one's.
October 28, 2026
New rotating banner effects and video slides
Choose how slides change: fade, Ken Burns (a slow zoom), slide left to right or slide right to left. Any slide can now be a picture or a YouTube or Vimeo video playing silently behind its words. The banner's height can also be set exactly, with its own height on phones.
October 28, 2026
More font control for each section
In a section's Colors & fonts, open Sizes & style to set its heading, smaller heading and text sizes, heading boldness, capitals, italics, letter spacing and line height. Phones get slightly smaller headings automatically.
October 28, 2026
Save each slide, event or listing card
Rotating banner slides, events, deals and directory entries now have their own Save button next to Delete.
October 28, 2026
Put your lists in any order
Move services or ministries, highlights, testimonials, videos, links and gallery photos up or down with the arrows. Service times are now a row each, with their own label and time, and move the same way.
October 28, 2026
A picture for each service or ministry
Designs that show a photo on each service or ministry card now let you choose that photo for each one, right where you edit it. Until you pick one, the design keeps using your gallery photos.
October 28, 2026
A background picture for any section
In Pages, open a section's Colors & fonts to give it a background picture. Choose how much to darken it so the words stay easy to read, and whether it stays still while the page scrolls.
October 28, 2026
Publish your first version in one click
The Publish my site button now puts your site online right away and shows you its address, with no second button to find.
October 28, 2026
Gallery photos open full screen
Visitors can click any photo in your gallery to see it full screen, then flip through the rest with arrows, the keyboard or a swipe. Galleries that showed photos at uneven heights now line them up in even rows.
October 28, 2026
Rearrange your page sections
In Pages, drag a section by its handle (or use the arrows) to change the order your page shows them in. Works on every design; the parts a design keeps at the top are marked "stays in place".
October 28, 2026

Visitors who search or filter your messages now get a Reset filters button that clears everything in one click.
October 28, 2026
Directory usernames keep their capitals
The Member Directory username now works exactly as you type it, capitals included.
October 28, 2026
Section colors start from what you have

October 28, 2026

Every published site now shows its own icon in the browser tab: its first letter on your main color.
October 28, 2026
